Tomorrow Maker - Modern Woodmen of America

Modern Woodmen of America

"While there are many segments of our society that need help, our senior population is often overlooked. Their needs are complex and often urgent in order to survive.

CASI gives people a better quality of life and allows many to enjoy real dignity as they age. There are many more reasons, including the support CASI gives to spouses and family members who are primary caregivers. CASI is a wonderful resource for the Quad Cities community.

You might not think you need them today, but in a few years you'll understand their value."

Kenny Massey, President and CEO, Modern Woodmen of America
Past Chairman, CASI Board of Directors

CASI is honored to be the beneficiary of the ongoing financial support and guidance of Mr. Massey and the Modern Woodmen organization.

For many years, Modern Woodmen has followed its mission to improve quality of life for their members and the communities where they live, work and play by not only investing financially but also investing volunteer time and talent to assist the CASI organization in order to impact the lives of area seniors. Throughout the past decade, Modern Woodmen has been a consistent leader among Quad Cities area corporate partners with CASI. Their primary concern has been simply to ensure ongoing operational stability at CASI as they have helped to sustain our facility, sponsor programs, support advocacy, and the important work of Jane’s Place Adult Day Services.

We would like to particularly celebrate and extend our deepest gratitude to Mr. Massey and the entire Modern Woodmen of America organization for their abiding support throughout the past 11 months of the COVID 19 pandemic. Though we have been unable to open the CASI facilities and offer programs and activities, Modern Woodmen’s generous financial gifts have allowed us to sustain our Senior Advocacy opportunities serving hundreds of area seniors at no cost to them, and to continue important CASI programs such as Be a Fan to a Senior and Senior SECRET Santa.

On behalf of the Quad Cities area seniors served by CASI today and thanks to Modern Woodmen, we extend our sincerest thanks and appreciation for being a Tomorrow Maker organization with your abiding support of CASI.
