CASI is honored to be the beneficiary of the generous support of Vibrant Credit Union. Our friends at Vibrant have become faithful supporters of CASI and our ongoing work on behalf of area seniors. As our naming sponsor of the St. Patrick's Day Race, Vibrant invested in the race in 2020 and though due to COVID we were forced to cancel the race, they maintained their investment to assist CASI in pivoting to support our senior community. We could not be more grateful. They generously made plans to support the 2021 race, although it had to be postponed. In addition, Vibrant's financial experts continue to share their expertise monthly with their educational snipet in CASI Connections. Thank you Vibrant! Please share a brief introduction to your history and your vision for the future.

It's been a long road since the start of Vibrant Credit Union in 1935. Our story begins with 8 hardworking John Deere Harvester employees, one shared dream, and $40. While our roots are in Moline, Illinois, we continue to grow. Now, we've got 9 locations throughout Iowa, Illinois, and Indiana. And we welcome anyone to join - no matter where they are.

Caring is at the heart of our culture. No job is too big or too small for us. We’re the type of people who will shovel your snow, call to see how you’re doing, and remember your mom’s name. We’re not only here for your major milestones, but also for all the little moments in between. So when it comes to your financial future, we listen. No fluff. No robot named Tom. Real people. Real voices. Ready to help bring your goals to life.

What common visions do Vibrant and CASI share that are important to you?

One of our newest core values, “think, speak and act for the collective good,” aligns well with CASI’s mission. It simply means placing a priority on making decisions that serve not only your needs, but the community around you. CASI really embodies this through the way they promote an inclusive community for seniors and Quad Cities citizens.

As a community leader, what is your vision for senior services in the QCA?

Our vision is to create a connected, supportive community where seniors can feel empowered and independent with their finances.
