CASI LABOR DAY HOURS

CASI will be closed on Labor Day, Monday, September 1, 2008. We will resume normal business hours the following day at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2008.

Please note that there will be no GenAge meals served in the CASI dining area on Labor Day.

SEPTEMBER CARD PARTY

Come join us for lunch and games at our September card party on Tuesday, September 23, 2008.

The fun begins at noon with a delicious lunch of grilled chicken, baked potatoes, green beans and dessert, followed by a variety of card games such as bridge, bunco, dominoes, spades, euchre, pinochle and 500.

The party ends at 3:45pm and the cost is only $6.00, including lunch. We hope to see you there!

TRY A FREE SESSION OF T'AI CHI CH'UN

T'ai Chi Ch'un is a noncompetitive and self paced system of gentle physical exercise in which you perform a series of movements in a slow and graceful manner. T'ai Chi is used to reduce stress, increase flexibility, improve strength and stamina and increase your sense of well-being.

Come and try a free one hour T'ai Chi session on Wednesday, September 10 at 10:30 a.m. with your instructor Scott Caulpetzer, a licensed T'ai Chi instructor who has taught in the Quad Cities since 1985.

If you would wish to continue this practice, six weekly sessions will be offered begining the following week, Wendnesday, September 17 and ending Wednesday, October 22 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Each lesson is priced at $3.00 or take the entire 6 week course for only $15.00.
